About The Office:

The Duval County Victims of Crime Assistance Program can help victims of violent crime:

* Meet with the District or County Attorney
* Learn victim's legal rights and options
* Cope with the impact of the crime
* Access Crime Victim Compensation
* Apply for a two-year Protective Order for family or dating violence
* Understand the criminal justice system
* Accompany victims to court
* Access social service agencies

The Victim Assistance Coordinator, located at the Duval County Courthouse, is available to assist you as well as keep you informed of the criminal case status.
