About the Office
Emergency management is the managerial function that creates the framework with which the County, including city governments and communities within the County, use to reduce vulnerability to hazards and cope with disasters. During the county’s declaration of emergency disaster, the County Judge is the director of Emergency Management and he has the Emergency Management Coordinator working with local governments, law enforcements, and emergency services.
